UK-based developer Banda and Australian businessman Rory O’Brien are set to deliver a $250 million residential development to the Gold Coast’s Main Beach. Masthead Ocean Club promises a collection of 28 luxury beachfront whole floor apartments, including a penthouse, two sub penthouses and five Sky Homes with a 7-star resort experience and extensive amenities.
Masthead will mark Edo Mapelli Mozzi’s 2007-founded Banda’s first foray into Australia, having projects currently underway in London, New York, Doha, San Salvador and all across Europe. Located at the northern end of Main Beach, known as the Golden Triangle, the development will sit within close proximity of premier lifestyle destinations such as the Southport Yacht Club and Superyacht Marina, Main Beach Surf Club, Spit parklands and Marina Mirage.
The whole floor apartments will span 317sqm, with the two sub penthouses spanning 634sqm and the grand penthouse spanning 1,000sqm. Each with private direct left access and double garaging. While the penthouse will include its own pool, gym, golf putting green and the private owner’s study at the peak of the tower.
BDA Architects have been appointed to the structure, while the 20 residences have been envisioned by MIM Design, while Banda has designed the five penthouses, two sub-penthouses and the grand penthouse. With all required approvals now in place, construction on Masthead Ocean Club is set to commence in the coming months with completion scheduled for 2024.
