CBRE has appointed Nic Purdue as managing director of the firm’s Canberra business.
Purdue joined CBRE two and a half years ago to lead the Canberra capital markets team, bringing more than two decades of property industry experience.
His promotion follows previous managing director Zoe Ferrari’s move to a client-side role at ISPT.
“Nic has been highly successful in both his capital markets leadership role and as a member of the Canberra executive leadership team, driving business growth and team engagement,” CBRE’s advisory services CEO Phil Rowland said.
“He stepped up into the interim managing director role last month and has quickly proven his capabilities, marking him as the clear choice for the permanent role following a thorough internal and external search.”
Purdue said, “I’m humbled by the opportunity to lead the Canberra business and work with such a great team and look forward to playing a part in our next growth phase.”
