COLLIERS managing director of occupier services, Sam Harvey-Jones, has been appointed as the new Asia Pacific chief operating officer.
Harvey-Jones will bring more than 14 years of experience in the region and more than 21 years of experience in global real estate and business.
“The knowledge and experience that Sam brings to this strategic role will continue to accelerate our growth, attract market-leading experts and expand our client relationships,” said John Kenny, CEO of Colliers, Asia Pacific.
Having worked with multinational organisations, such as Novartis, Cognizant, Pfizer, Ipsos and Citi, Harvey-Jones joined Colliers in 2015 as managing director of occupier services, leading the business’ strategic growth and direction.
“With his extensive background working with multinational organisations and deep global real estate and business experience, he will bring a wealth of knowledge to this key strategic role. Sam is a great example of someone who is accelerating their career at Colliers,” said Kenny.
As part of his new position, Harvey-Jones will execute Colliers’ 25 Enterprise Blueprint, a five year growth strategy with a target of doubling profitability and have at least 65% of Colliers’ adjusted EBITDA be derived from recurring revenue by the end of 2025.
“It is an exciting time to become Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific. With our enterprising culture and proven track record in this dynamic and fast-growing region, I look forward to continuing to accelerate Colliers’ growth to lead our industry into the future,” said Harvey-Jones.
Harvey-Jones will commence in the role of COO of Colliers, joining the professional services and investment firm’s executive team, effective 1 January 2022.
Colliers recently made appointments in Tom Reed as of director of valuation and advisory services at their Adelaide offices and Georgina Clothier as national director of the group’s South Australia-based Real Estate Management Services business.
