THE Australian Property Institute has held a conference with Young Property Professionals in Sydney featuring keynote speaker UBS head of real estate Australasia and managing director Tim Church.
The API initiative, led by API Victorian Division former president Steve Simpson and API national president Phil Western, seeks to engage the Young Property Professionals (YPP) within the API.
The day long workshop at the Rocks in Sydney hosted Young Property Professionals across the country, who were given the opportunity to speak to UBS head of real estate Australasia Tim Church.
Church, who started his career as a young valuer before moving into investment banking and eventually became the managing director of UBS Australia, spoke to the YPP about career opportunities in the property sector and the value of his membership and long time association with the API.
