THE Australian Property Institute’s newly elected Victorian president Tony Kelly has encouraged the organization to continue on its path of engaging with members and clients on a national grounding – and beyond.
“I think all the members know that we need to do things nationally – our clients expect it, we deal with them on a national basis,” he said.
“The property world is in a sense getting smaller and we need to deal with a lot if issues – standards, member engagement – on a national or global basis so it’s a direction we need to go in.
“Property, and property valuers in particular play a very important role in financial performance and success and stability of a lot of countries.
“Valuers actually play a very important role in financial markets,” Kelly said.
