THE Reserve Bank has awarded Watpac a $55 million contract for the construction of a large-scale and secure facility in Melbourne.
“We are delighted to be building this new facility that will be an important component of Australia’s financial infrastructure,” Watpac managing director Martin Monro said.
“The group has built a strong reputation for delivering high quality projects within specialised environments including the $158 million Base Security Improvement Program for the Australian Defence Force and the current $83 million Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation Nuclear Medicine Facility in New South Wales,” Monro said.
