SAVILLS has completed the acquisition of the Sydney-based residential real estate agency Cordeau Marshall.
The Cordeau Marshall business will be re-branded Savills Cordeau Marshall.
Cordeau Marshall’s founder and principal Craig Marshall will continue to manage and operate the residential sales and rentals business, with the existing team remaining in place.
Together with the five residential offices in Gordon, Lindfield, St Ives, Turramurra and Roseville, Savills has also acquired the Cordeau Marshall rent roll of 700 plus properties.
Savills has also launched a flagship residential office in Double Bay, located at 418 New South Head Rd.
Savills Residential head of Ged Rockliff said the addition of the Cordeau Marshall business together with the opening of the prestigious Double Bay office, will provide Savills with a significant footprint and a strong platform for further growth in the residential market.
This investment follows the opening of a Savills Residential office in Chinatown earlier this year, which will make Savills the only provider of a complete range of residential services.
Marshall said this synergy would also allow the agency to leverage off a global network and brand.
