VILLAGE Roadshow has ceased discussions with MFS Living and Leisure Group.
VRL had been in negotiation with MPY to acquire certain assets. However, this offer was not accepted by MPY.
Meanwhile, MPY said it has received several proposals from parties interested in acquiring certain assets and businesses of the group.
“MPY advises that it is currently undertaking an ownership review of its Oceanis and Treetops businesses and formal sales processes are being conducted for each business. A number of parties are currently undertaking due diligence in each process for the purposes of a firm proposal to acquire all or some of each business.
“MPY also notes it is continuing discussions with a number of parties interested in a possible recapitalisation of the group including the provision of alternative forms of funding to the group,” the company said in a statement.
