Multiplex Living’s the Esplanade Nedlands apartment development in Perth have been sold off-the-plan in just one-and-a-half days, prior to public launch.
The 37 apartment development was sold at an average sales price of $2.6 million. In addition, the sale for the penthouses averaged $4.3 million with one of the penthouses achieving a record of $25,000 per sqm.
The Esplanade Nedlands is located on the Swan River in Perth’s suburb of Nedlands.
“To sell all 37 residences in such a short space of time has exceeded our expectations, with the overwhelming response a clear indication that demand for well-located, high quality properties in Perth’s blue chip locations remains strong. It also illustrates the strength of the Multiplex Living brand and the confidence buyers have that we will deliver a quality product,” Multiplex Living’s managing director Tim Willing said.
According to Multiplex Developments Australia director Martin Steens said the sales success also augers well for future Multiplex releases, including our beachfront sites at Leighton and the expected launch later this year of apartments at the redevelopment of the Claremont Town Centre.
Also located on The Esplanade Nedlands site is the iconic former Steve’s Hotel, with plans in place to restore the Hotel, transforming it into four exclusive residences, along with a number of boutique retail outlets, including a wine merchant, New York style deli and a café / bar.
In a follow up to the sale of the apartments, seven individual land lots located on the adjoining site, ranging in size from 220 sqm to 270 sqm, are expected to be offered in the coming weeks.
