DCA Group’s New Zealand aged care business, Guardian Healthcare Group, has completed the purchase of six aged care facilities.
The six residential aged care facilities comprise 329 beds, of which four of the facilities (233 beds) will be operated under long term freehold leases and the balance (96 beds) involve the acquisition of the freehold properties.
The facilities are located across both the north and south islands and take the total number of aged care beds operated by Guardian to over 2500.
The purchase was funded from existing cash, and unused credit facilities.
