GLOBAL software-as-a-service company for residential builders, renovators and suppliers, Builxact, has a new CEO after David Murray announced he is stepping down.
Succeeding him is Steve Yates, formerly the executive vice president of enterprise sales at Buildxact.
“A thorough professional search and interview process identified experienced SaaS leaders as exceptional candidates for the CEO role in this next phase. Steve Yates’ deep experience and successful growth of businesses in the industry and understanding of Buildxact customers and team leadership were exceptional factors in Steve’s successful candidature and appointment as CEO,” said John Allison, chair.
Buildxact operates in the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Murray has been at the helm since October 2017, leading the company through its rapid growth in Australia and New Zealand, and its expansion into North America.
“I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved at Buildxact over the past seven years,” said Murray. “It has been an honour to lead such a passionate and talented team from a very small stage to a global player.”
Yates has served as Buildxact’s executive vice president of enterprise and industry partner channels since January 2020, driving North American market priorities and global industry partnerships.
“I am excited and honoured to take on this new role,” said Yates. “We have an incredible team and an unmatched commitment to innovation and customer success. I am eager to lead Buildxact as we continue to deliver industry-leading solutions and advancements that empower our customers to achieve their business goals.”
