CUSHMAN and Wakefield have made a shrewd acquisition to their team with the experienced Guy Bennett joining the South Australia branch as managing director and head of capital markets.
Bennett has a wealth of experience in the industry with expert knowledge of capital markets and he’ll be a vital asset in leading the team in SA. Bennett spent 10 years at Knight Frank and 7 years with Charter Hall in Sydney.
It’s not the first time this year that Cushman and Wakefield have made welcome additions to their business. Jed Harley, Hamish Crouch and Jay Nash joined earlier in 2022 for a new commercial real estate team.
Simon Fenn, managing director CRE ANZ at Cushman and Wakefield, is thrilled with the acquisition of Guy Bennett.
“Guy’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the Adelaide business, as we actively grow our local presence across South Australia. This also marks yet another step in the delivery of a national agency platform following the recent acquisition of Sheffield Property in Perth and continued growth along the east coast,” said Fenn.
Bennett is more than ready to begin his new role as he leads the business into a new direction.
“This new agency team is a natural extension of Cushman and Wakefield’s current Adelaide business, as we look to expand our service offering for our valued clients,” he said.
“I am excited to be joining at an exciting time for the local market and working with a high performing national and global team,” Bennett added.
Cushman and Wakefield continues to grow as does their ability to continue to attract top industry professionals. Their services in Adelaide include facilities management, project development services and trade services.
In the fourth quarter of 2021, Cushman and Wakefield Capital Markets completed a record-breaking office transaction in Adelaide on behalf of Charter Hall.
