SAVILLS has grown its national valuations team with key appointments and internal promotions across Sydney and Melbourne.
Ben Toole has joined as director in the Sydney office, bringing over 25 years’ experience. Most recently, he was a director in the residential development team at M3property.
His appointment follows the addition of Tommy Christian, director, valuations and advisory with a focus on the living sector, and the return of Monique Bird to the Sydney team.
In Melbourne, Chris Pulvirenti has been promoted to national director.
Furthermore Tim Williamson has been promoted to director, valuations and advisory, in recognition of his contributions to the team’s growth and expertise.

Savills has also bolstered its hotels team with the hiring of specialist, Niall Kumar as associate director in Sydney.
Niall joins from Salter Brothers Funds Management, where he spearheaded a wide range of strategic responsibilities including acquisitions, underwriting, deal origination, and market research. He brings a wealth of experience across various sectors, with particular expertise in hotels, build-to-rent (BTR), and the living sector.
In his new role, he will focus on hotel and pub transactions, investment strategy and analysis, partnerships with institutional and private capital, and hotel operator engagements.
Savills hotels national director Nick Lower said Kumar’s deep understanding of the hotel industry and investment sectors, combined with his proven track record of successful deal-making will be critical to his role within the team.
