WARREN Ebert’s Sentinel Property Group has appointed Daniel O’Driscoll as its director of business development.
O’Driscoll previously worked at Sentinel in 2011 and has since held roles at Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC), including most recently as development director of QIC Real Estate.
“The last few years have been massive for the growth of Sentinel and it’s fantastic that we are able to boost the capability of our leadership team with the appointment of Daniel as Director of Business Development as he has achieved so much with QIC,” said Warren Ebert, CEO at Sentinel.
“Daniel has a demonstrated history of working in the investment management industry during his 13 years with QIC crafting his negotiation, valuation, asset and development management skillset across the retail, office and hotel sectors. We look forward to his contribution to the team at Sentinel as we pursue further growth for our business and opportunities for investors.”
At QIC, O’Driscoll worked across multiple assets including MLC Centre and 52 Martin Place in Sydney, 141 Queen Street and Queensland Government Office Fund in Brisbane.
This on top of working on super regional retail assets including Eastland Shopping Centre, Watergardens Town Centre and the Canberra Centre.
“My tenure at QIC has given me exposure to various asset classes from greenfield development sites requiring strategic planning for Town Centre master plans to the asset and development management for super regional shopping centres,” said O’Driscoll.
“Naturally, this experience will prove valuable for the challenges and opportunities at Sentinel, which is one of the top performing fund managers in the country. Relationships are paramount in this industry and it is terrific to be able to return to where my time in Investment Management began with Warren and the team at Sentinel.”
