SAVILLS is deepening its capital markets offering, announcing a new national capital markets team in a strategic move designed to enhance its capabilities in property transactions, capital movements, brokerage, and cross-border transactions.
The new team includes Michael Pisano, who steps into the role of national director, capital transactions, effective from the start of October. He moves to role from his previous position of national director, valuations and advisory at Savills, having previously held senior agency and institutional client-side roles.
Also in the team is Ben Azar, a long-standing senior leader in the Savills team recently promoted from state director, capital transactions, to national director, having navigated capital transactions for national and institutional clients during his 20-year career.
The re-designed national capital markets will also leverage the expertise of analyst Ruth Corby, and director, Adrian Bokolis, who is a member of the Savills global cross border investments team, which consists of 23 specialists internationally.
“This national capital markets team represents a significant evolution in how we approach capital transactions,” said Paul Craig, CEO at Savills Australia and New Zealand.
“As the market becomes more globalised and sophisticated, so too does our strategy. By harnessing the full breadth of Savills’ global capabilities, with dedicated local resources, we’re not only meeting the growing demands of our clients but providing them with the critical insights and depth of expertise they need to make informed decisions in an increasingly complex environment,” Craig said.
Azar said, “This initiative reflects months of strategic planning and a deep understanding of the capital markets across all sectors”.
