STRONG demand for the Australian real estate market has led KPMG Australia to expand its Tax & Legal practice with several new senior hires and promotions.
KPMG Australia is growing its Tax & Legal partner count by seven, including two promotions and five new hires, as the firm looks to expand its Tax and Tax Controversy & Disputes capability services to clients.
“We are seeing a lot of interest in the Australian real estate market from international clients, due to the quality and depth of assets in the sector,” said Ben Travers, national managing partner of Tax & Legal.
“Strong investment demand is being driven by new real estate classes such as student accommodation, build-to-rent and data centres. The new partner appointments will help us grow our capability in the space and support strong client demand.”
The appointments include Josh Cardwell, Arash Azimi, Jenny Kwok, Ryan English, James Alsop, Stacey Hannam and Jennifer Ta.
