X Commercial has appointed a new director of eastern suburbs in Angus Morrison, the current Chairman of the Commercial Chapter of the Real Estate Institute of NSW.
Morrison has been a major player in eastern suburbs commercial sales and leasing in Sydney for the past seven years.
“Strategically, the Eastern Suburbs is one of the 10 major metropolitan commercial locations in NSW that we want to open an office in,” said Daniel O’Brien, CEO at X Commercial.
“We are about to commence actively targeting commercial agency businesses to acquire in the Eastern Suburbs and Beaches and expanding our current footprint into these 10 major markets is our plan over the next 3 years.”
Morrison is set to become the owner and managing director of this franchise office once the right business is acquired by X Commercial.
“I was attracted to the model offered to assist me to eventually open a new X Commercial Eastern Suburbs office. Having known Daniel for several years, we share similar values and work exceptionally well together,” said Morrison.
“Initially I will be focused on both growing our market share in the East and acting as Head of Business Development adding to our number of Assets under Management. The Asset Management department is organically growing rapidly, and I will be continuing to drive this growth.”
X Commercial averages 350 sales and leasing deals annually and manages more than 1,900 property assets, including office buildings, industrial properties, retail spaces, and several large shopping centres, with combined AUM at $3.5 billion across Sydney.
