JLL has appointed John Gunthorpe as a director of value and risk advisory – agribusiness after more than 15 years’ experience advising in the agribusiness, infrastructure and energy sectors across Australia, UK and Europe.
Gunthorpe was previously agribusiness director – VIC/TAS for valuers Herron Todd White. He worked in the UK market until 2022 as director of valuation and advisory services for CBRE, where he advised on major infrastructure and energy projects including Heathrow Airport and Bristol Airport Expansions, High Speed Two Rail and National Grid.
He has particular specialisations in advising on poultry, equine breeding and training, dairy, viticulture, plantation forestry, and post-farmgate processing assets, as well as large-scale pastoral and cropping properties.
Gunthorpe also has experience advising on solar, battery storage, electrical, and gas transmission apparatus, as well as major infrastructure, mining and gas projects.
