EXPERIENCED real estate specialist Craig Sewell and his team from Mint 360 Property are embarking on a new chapter as Raine & Horne Randwick/Coogee.
Raine & Horne Randwick has since 1977, under the guidance of Terry Brandtman, catered not only to Randwick but also to suburbs such as Coogee and Clovelly. Brandtman will now shift to a sales position within Raine & Horne Randwick/Coogee, maintaining an ongoing presence within the team.
“I have been an acquaintance of Terry for a very long time, and he will remain an integral part of our team, contributing as a conjunction agent, ensuring continuity and preserving the strong relationships he has cultivated over the years,” Sewell said.
Sewell has built a team of about 25 dedicated professionals across real estate sales and property management. They have been recognised as finalists for principal of the year by both the REI and Real Estate Business.
Sewell said his association with individuals such as Gerard Hill and executive chairman Angus Raine, along with the strategic opportunities presented by Raine & Horne, drew him towards the partnership.
He said there are opportunities to expand the portfolio of 1850 rentals and pick up new rent rolls, having spoken with other principals in the region that have rent rolls that want to focus on sales.
Sewell said the Randwick market offers steady opportunities, especially for investors eyeing apartments.
“Despite a limited supply currently, the imminent increase in unit constructions signifies growth potential, while yields of 3.5% to 4% are reasonably healthy,” he said.
