NATIONAL builder and developer Vaughan Constructions has appointed Lorien Dalmau to the newly-created position of general manager of the Victorian business.
Dalmau brings construction industry experience of more than 17 years to the business, having delivered large and complex construction projects across Victoria and Western Australia.
Her career in construction began as an apprentice carpenter, which she completed before being appointed to several senior positions at ProBuild, Abigroup, and most recently as Shape Homes general manager.
“Lorien has worked her way up the ranks in her career, is known for her intelligent and pragmatic approach and is without doubt an expert in her field. We are fortunate to have her as our Victorian general manager,” said Vaughan family shareholders Matt and Ken Vaughan.
They said the new role of Victorian State general manager “reflects the sustained growth that Vaughan Constructions continues to achieve”.
Dalmau said she was thrilled to take on the new role.
“It’s such a great honour to be appointed general manager of the Victorian state branch of such a highly respected member of the national construction industry,” she said.
Dalmau will commence in the middle of March.
Her appointment follows former ProBuild chief Luke Stambolis being made CEO of the national business last month.
