REAL estate fund manager Centuria Capital has expanded its New South Wales and Western Australia distribution team, with two appointments.
Financial services executive, Karen Brown, has been appointed as distribution manager – WA/SA and will be responsible for promoting Centuria’s property funds across office, industrial, retail, healthcare, agriculture and real estate credit to the intermediary channels.
Brown has previously held senior positions across blue-chip organisations such as AMP, Challenger, GSFM Funds Management and was most recently chief operating officer at Sentry Advice.
Additionally, private markets specialist, Matthew Young, has been appointed to the NSW team as strategic partnership manager, where he will be the primary contact for asset consultants, research houses and licensees specialising in private market alternative assets.
Young has executive experience across wholesale private markets and has held senior positions at Cromwell, Robeco and Blackrock in business development and research roles.
