DEVELOPER and builder Coronation Property Group has commenced works on Stage 2 of Ashbury Terraces residential development in Sydney’s inner-west.
The SJB-designed Ashbury Terraces will be delivered on a prime 16,500sqm site at 165 Milton Street, Ashbury, around 10km from the Sydney CBD, and will comprise 127 oversized homes, including 68 townhouses and 59 apartments.
“I’m delighted to see construction commencing on Stage Two of the project,” said Adam Haddow, director at SJB.
“The development has been designed to ensure that as time passes and people move through the site, a sense of community is fostered ensuring that Ashbury Terraces positively contributes to the social fabric of the area.”
The development will include a range of communal amenities, greenspaces and landscaping by Daniel Baffsky from 360 Degrees Landscape Architecture.
“The project has seen strong interest from local buyers, owner occupiers and downsizers who have an appreciation for the rarity of the project,” said Joseph Nahas, managing director at Coronation.
“Buyers are seeing value in larger terrace style homes offering communal amenities and oversized backyards – a unique feature to Sydney developments.”
While last month, the group announced a partnership with community housing provider Evolve Housing to deliver around 150 150 affordable housing dwellings within Coronation’s $1.5 Billion master-planned urban development project in Erskineville.
With the group also acquiring a 1.5-hectare inner Sydney site earmarked for a build-to-rent, retail and commercial precinct in February.
Construction on Ashbury Terraces Stage One is currently on track for completion by the end of 2024, with Stage Two scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2025.
