JLL has appointed a new Victorian managing director in the returning Kate Pilgrim.
Pilgrim brings almost two decades of property market experience to the role, 17 of which were spent at JLL, before her post recent position as head of customer and marketing at Charter Hall.
“This experience, her deep understanding of our business and her commitment to JLL’s growth gives Kate a unique perspective on how we can continue to develop our teams and further enhance our services,” said Dan Kernaghan, CEO at JLL, Australia and New Zealand.
Pilgrim joined JLL back in 2004 and was promoted to director of corporate in 2010, before becoming a senior director of tenant representation in 2017.
With Pilgrim’s industry experience including tenant representation, advisory/consultancy services, sales and leasing, and account/transaction management.
“Kate’s new Managing Director role will include supporting Markets Advisory, Capital Markets and our Work Dynamics businesses in a national leadership role, including taking on an additional responsibility as Co-Head of Tenant Representation for Victoria,” said Kernaghan.
“Her knowledge and experience of the Melbourne market is highly sought after, particularly within the technology and creative sectors.”
In her time at JLL, Pilgrim represented tenants’ interests in property transactions including lease negotiation, site selection, market research, strategic portfolio reviews, and financial and location analysis.
