CUSHMAN & Wakefield has appointed Aubrey Waddell as CEO of the firm’s global occupier services (GOS) division.
“Our GOS business has been a top priority for many years now, as it is integral to our overall firm and client strategy – we have every confidence that Aubrey and the GOS leadership team will continue the growth of this critical service line,” said Andrew McDonald, global president and COO.
Waddell joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2021 to serve as global head of commercial operations for GOS. The division has delivered real estate solutions to some of the world’s largest occupiers, including workplace strategy, facility and project management, and transaction management.
“I’m excited to lead an exceptional team wholly focused on positioning our firm and clients for long-term, sustainable growth. The GOS model, built on collaboration, flexibility and partnership, will continue to deliver best-in-class solutions for our clients,” said Waddell.
Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, she oversaw commercial strategy for JLL’s largest enterprise occupier clients, and also served as general counsel for JLL’s workplace dynamics business in the Americas.
She received her Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt Law School and Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
Outgoing GOS CEO Bill Knightly worked on the merger of DTZ, Cassidy Turley and Cushman & Wakefield, and also served as EVP of financial planning & analysis, as treasurer and head of investor relations through the initial public offering process, interim Americas CFO and global controller and as a member of the company’s global management team.
“We are incredibly grateful for the contributions Bill made in multiple roles over the past nine years, and wish him well in his future endeavors,” McDonald said.
