IN response to increased demand from the Asia Pacific region, Colliers’ Lucy Mallick is relocating to Singapore in the newly created role of international capital lead, Australia.
From the Singapore office, Mallick is set to lead demand growth for international capital placed in Australia from the region.
“The strategic move of Lucy to our Singapore office not only underscores our commitment to synergising our operations across the APAC region but also promises to significantly enhance our already leading capital markets team,” said Sam Harvey-Jones, COO of Collier Asia Pacific.
“Her extensive experience and proven track record in capital transactions are pivotal in both fortifying our presence in the market and ensuring the most competitive capital is delivered to our clients, offering them unparalleled insights and opportunities in Australian investments across the transaction spectrum.”
“This move has been made in response to our growing International Capital Markets platform and ensures the business continues to service the demands of an ever-changing market.”
Mallick will report to the head of office capital markers, Adam Woodward, and Singapore managing director, Bastiaan van Beijsterveldt.
“Lucy’s appointment is a testament to Colliers’ dedication to cultivating talent within and scaling our capabilities in response to market needs,” said van Beijsterveldt.
“Her expertise will not only be invaluable in connecting offshore capital with Australian real estate opportunities but also in enhancing the strategic advice we provide to our clients. We are excited to welcome Lucy to our Singapore team and look forward to her contributions to our growth and client service excellence.”
Mallick has eight years of experience including two years at Leadlease in the capital transactions team and two years as a senior executive at Colliers in the office capital markets team.
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to accelerate my career with Colliers and am very eager to contribute to expanding the Colliers platform overseas, whilst also bolstering our current services for our Australian-based clients,” added Mallick.
Meanwhile, closer to home, Colliers have appointed a new Victorian national director of the occupier services and tenant advisory team in Baird Mackie.
Mackie will be based in the Melbourne CBD office and will support occupier clients across the state and nationally, working with Simon Crouch and the wider tenant advisory team.
“Baird’s appointment as the head of our Victorian Tenant Advisory team is an exciting development for Colliers,” said Crouch.
“We are thrilled to have Baird join the Colliers team that will bring new insights to continue the growth and expansion of our Tenant Advisory business in Victoria and Nationally. Baird’s significant experience in major office leasing transactions will build on the teams diversity of knowledge in providing the best possible solutions to our clients.”
Mackie has served as leasing director at The GPT Group and as the national leasing manager at Walker Corporation.
