FRASERS Property Australia has a new CEO in Cameron Leggatt, as Anthony Boyd steps out of the role to become Frasers Property Limited’s group chief operating officer.
Boyd has served as CEO of Frasers Property Australia for four years and has been with the company for 19-years so far, holding roles such as roles of executive general manager residential and chief financial officer.
Boyd is set to work closely with group chief executive officer Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi and other members of the global executive leadership team to execute the group’s strategy.
“There are many opportunities in front of us as a global business and we have the scale, depth of expertise and strong platforms within our various business units to harness and capitalise on these opportunities,” said Boyd.
“I’m looking forward to working more closely with Panote and other members of the senior leadership team to drive our strategy and create efficiencies throughout the business. I’m also very proud that the depth of talent in our Australian team and our succession planning provides such opportunities and pathways for our people.”
Stepping into the CEO position, Leggatt has been with Frasers Property for 13 years, working as the executive general manager development role, before which he was general manager of the company’s Queensland business.
“It is an honour to take on the role of CEO of a business with such a long and proud history in Australia, which celebrates its centenary this year,” said Leggatt.
“Amid the broader challenges of the current operating environment, our focus will be to execute our customer- focused strategy and deliver high quality communities for Australians. We will also look to continue to improve project outcomes and grow the business prudently whilst continuing to expand the involvement of joint venture and capital partners.”
In 2024, Frasers Property will launch its major new community in Victoria’s Yarraville, Bradmill, and its recent Windermere acquisition, which is adjacent to its Mambourin community.
Residents are also set to move into the group’s Midtown MacPark in Sydney, while Frasers prepares for launch of its new community in Brisbane at New Beith.
Emily Wood will also take over as executive general manager development, the role vacated by Leggatt to be supported by John Dawson, who takes on the new role of General Manager – National Operations.
