CBRE has appointed Stephen Thomas to head its commercial valuation and advisory services business in Australia, in one of a number of personnel movements.
Thomas brings over 26 years’ experience to the role, most recently as CBRE’s national director of institutional valuations.
At the same time, Kyle Richardson has been appointed to a new senior role as national director – government and specialisations to drive strategic opportunities in new market sectors, while Jane Devereux will take on a newly created position as national director, commercial metro, valuation and advisory services.
Richardson will ensure greater alignment in CBRE’s government offering and oversee valuation and advisory services in communities and specialised assets, including retirement and healthcare, the living sector and residential development.
Devereux will steer CBRE’s expanding activities in the commercial metro market.
“Our people are at the heart of our business and we’re fortunate to have some of the leading talent in our industry,” CBRE’s senior director, valuation and advisory services, Duncan Guthrie said.
“Our new leadership structure will further enhance the services and support we provide to our clients as they navigate ever-changing market conditions.”
