CBRE has made several changes to its leadership with Jarrod Frazer to lead its Victorian business and Duncan Guthrie appointed to head up its valuation & advisory services business for Australia & New Zealand.
Frazer assumed the interim leadership role back in August, following Dean Hunt’s exit from the position, before emerging as the permanent successor.
“Moving into the Victorian leadership role gives Jarrod an exciting opportunity to harness adjacent skills and take his career in a new direction, building on his proven leadership skills and deep knowledge of the valuations sector,” said Phil Rowland, CEO at CBRE, Australia and New Zealand.
“Jarrod will work with our strong group of passionate state leaders to further enhance our client service offering and marketing leading position in the Victorian market, which has been recognised by the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) through multiple award wins.”
Frazer joined CBRE in 2009, leading the new established residential valuations offering in Victoria, before moving through a series of local, national and Pacific VAS roles. And becoming the head of valuation & advisory services in 2022.
“We see considerable scope to expand our reach in emerging asset classes such as the Living and Alternative sectors, as well as areas beyond Melbourne to assist our clients in delivering on their growth objectives,” said Frazer.
Frazer has now been succeeded in his former valuation & advisory services leadership role by Duncan Guthrie, who has spent the last 20 years with CBRE.
Guthrie has also been appointed to CBRE’s Pacific Executive Committee.
“Duncan is a highly respected leader who has made instrumental contributions to the success of our Valuation & Advisory Services business, most recently as our Pacific Director of Operations,” said Rowland.
“Duncan was an important driver in the successful integration of the TelferYoung valuations business in New Zealand to establish CBRE as the country’s largest valuations business. He’s also been at the forefront of enhancing our valuations platform and systems to support our clients and drive our ongoing growth and success in the valuations sector.”
Meanwhile, CBRE has also strengthened its valuation & advisory services leadership team with several internal promotions including Kat Hale being appointed to lead the firm’s Australian residential valuation & advisory services team and Matt Hole as director of operations for CBRE’s Australian valuation & advisory services business.
