MAINBRACE Constructions has appointed Josef Picone as Victoria state manager to lead the business through a growth phase that will see it expand on its traditional retail specialisation into the logistics sector.
Picone’s resume in the industry spans more than 20 years, in which time he has established a proven reputation in delivering high-quality projects across sectors, including retail, logistics, commercial, industrial, education, hospitality, data and more, Mainbrace said.
His construction management and project management experience includes the successful delivery of various projects for Woolworths, Coles and Bunnings over the years, giving him direct experience working with some of Mainbrace’s major long-term clients.
We see considerable scope for growth in both the retail and logistics sectors and as part of an enthusiastic team, I’m looking forward to building on the inclusive culture and strong client relationships Mainbrace has established,” Picone said.
Mainbrace managing director Rob Doust said the business looks forward to leveraging Picone’s vast experience to achieve its objectives.
“In Victoria, we are focused on expanding our portfolio and strengthening our pipeline and Josef’s experience and leadership will be important as we pursue this growth agenda. His cross-sector expertise and experience in delivering various high-profile, complex projects in the state make him the ideal person to lead us through this next exciting phase,” he said.
