WRITER and director John Raftopoulos and Claire Jensz have listed their Byron Bay residence around $25 million, with the sale expected to eclipse the previous suburb record set earlier in 2023.

The listing is being managed by Liam Annesley from Byron Bay Real Estate Agency, with the home to be sold under the hammer at private auction.
The couple purchased the property in 2018 for $4.1 million in a sale managed by Ian Daniels from Byron Bay McGrath, before undertaking a total rebuild with the new home designed by architect Harley Graham.
With two full bathrooms and two powder rooms, the home also boasts a private elevator, parking for five with a two-car garage, two storage bays, a private gym, BBQ zone and an outdoor office.
Placed only a short walk away from Wategos Beach, 19 Brownell Drive is also within close proximity of schools, restaurants, shopping hubs, cafes, and airports.
The sale is anticipated to best the recent February record price for Byron Bay, which was set at $23 million for the beachfront three-bedroom 19 Marine Parade by Afterpay’s Anthony Eisen.
