THE Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) has elected two new directors to its board, as two long-stranding members exit.
Award winning auctioneer Adrian Butera and buyers’ agent Mark Errichiello were elected to the REIV Board, after the Metropolitan Zone elections closed last week.
While existing Sam Hatzistamatis, a senior property manager, and Jacob Caine, a licensed real estate agent, agency owner and current REIV Senior Vice President, were re-elected for further three-year term.
Meanwhile current president Andrew Meehan and past president Leah Calnan have left the board.
“Leah and Andrew have made an important contribution to the real estate sector over the past decade and, on behalf of the REIV and its membership, I thank them for their service,” said Quentin Kilian, CEO at REIV.
“In Adrian and Mark we have two highly regarded and experienced property sector specialists joining the Institute’s board and they will no doubt make an impact at a leadership level.”
Meehan, who was on the board from 2020 to 2023, is retiring from real estate, while Calnan completed the permitted nine years as a director on the board from 2014 to 2023.
The new directors are scheduled to take office from 1 October.
