JLL is expanding its South Australian capital markets team with two new appointments in Ben Parkinson and Jack O’Leary.
Having worked as JLL’s South Australia managing director for the last four years, Parkinson’s current responsibilities will be expanded to include a transactions based role in leading the capital markets team.
“Returning to a transaction-based role in our national Capital Markets team role will leverage Ben’s considerable agency and client side experience spanning three state markets across valuations, hotels, capital transactions and retail sales, providing invaluable insights for clients,” said Luke Billiau, head of capital markets at JLL, Australia.
Meanwhile Jack O’Leary is joining JLL as director of sales and investments in the South Australia capital markets team.
“Jack has a strong background in transactions, valuations and commercial advisory roles and we welcome him to the South Australian team,” added Billiau.
“His extensive commercial property knowledge across various asset types including development land, retail, commercial and industrial assets will strengthen our team, and facilitate growth into the future.”
O’Leary previously worked at Sarah Constructions as transactions manager, where he was responsible for sourcing and managing structured projects and has previously held positions in transaction advisory, having started his career in real estate with CBRE as a valuer specialising in investment grade assets.
“With Jack joining the business we now have the opportunity to provide the whole spectrum of agency services across investments, development sites, retail, hotel and commercial office to our clients,” said O’Leary.
“I am excited to be joining a well-respected transactions team of five people, four of which boast valuation experience. Our clients will no doubt appreciate the teams’ insights and attention to detail to generate strong outcomes and provide certainty in a continually evolving market.”
