CUSHMAN & Wakefield are continuing to build up their platform, by appointing Nick Charlton as joint head of capital markets WA.
Charlton will be based in Cushman & Wakefield’s Perth office, where utilise his 20 years of experience in commercial property sales to advise institutional and private clients on their acquisitions and disposal strategy in the metropolitan CBD.
“2023 will prove to be an exciting year for the WA market, as Institutional investors are seeing the potential for rental growth and capital appreciation, making it an attractive investment destination,” said Charlton.
Charlton will join Ben Younger, fellow joint head of capital markets WA, who joined Cushman & Wakefield in late-2022.
“The government has made significant investments in infrastructure, which has helped to stimulate economic growth and create new business opportunities in Perth, making Nick and Ben’s appointment timely in an ever-evolving market,” said Mark Clapham, joint managing director at Cushman and Wakefield.
“Nick and Ben’s highly coveted experience in the Perth Capital Markets sector and their combined network will be a huge advantage for the WA and National business.”
Cushman & Wakefield have made numerous appointments so far this year, such as in the recent coup of a 14 person team of prominent Melbourne-based agents from Colliers including Daniel Wolman and Oliver Hay.
As well as building out its national commercial capital markets and national industrial capital markets teams and making two key sustainability leadership hires across its Asia Pacific and global teams.
All of which followed Guy Bennett’s promotion to managing director of commercial real estate, Australia and Zealand.
