KORDAMENTHA is has appointed three new specialists to the firm’s real estate practice as the firm looks to enhance its development and investment capabilities in NSW.
The expansion is spearheaded by the appointment of Tony Massaro as partner. Massaro joins KordaMentha from PwC Australia, where he led the real estate advisory team in Sydney.
Paul McNamara and Nicholas Lucas also join the team, respectively as director and associate director.
“Tony, Paul and Nicholas all bring invaluable experience across real estate, including specialist knowledge across the aged care and retirement real estate industry, and this will certainly boost KordaMentha’s already strong capabilities,” national head of KordaMentha real estate, Tom Davis said.
“Their ability to open doors with the relationships and networks they have formed will allow our firm to continue to improve our offering to our ever-growing client and investor base and expand our development and investment capability.”
Massaro co-founded the PwC real estate advisory practice and spent over 10 years with the company. He brings over 20 years of experience leading and advising public and private sector organisations on property projects across a range of sectors including retirement, aged care, residential, commercial office and industrial. He has also held roles as principal at Stockland, ING Real Estate and Ingenia, and advisor at PwC.
McNamara spent eight years in the PwC real estate advisory team. His experience spans project management, development management, capital transaction management and commercial advisory across multiple real estate asset classes.
Lucas spent five years at PwC managing direct real estate transactions and corporate real estate mergers and acquisitions, and provided strategic advice to private, institutional and government clients regarding their property portfolios.
