RORK Projects has appointed a new general manager for NSW, welcoming Peter Kang to the company’s senior leadership team.
Kang has worked in senior management positions for tier-one construction companies, where he has brought large scale projects to fruition in both the public and private sector.
“His experience reflects a driven work ethic that is founded on a culture of collaboration – these are values and skills that stood out to me and that align with our vision for NSW,” said Brian O’Rourke, managing director at Rork Projects.
“Supported by our NSW Construction Manager Malcolm Hoye, our new BDM Gerald Shelton-Agar, and the rest of our talented team in Sydney I am incredibly excited about what the state is going to deliver.”
Kang’s most recent experience includes the delivery of the $70 million White Bay Power Station Stage 1B and 2 heritage remedial refurbishment, the $43 million Westmead Hospital Redevelopment Stage 2 refurbishment and the $24 million QBE Parramatta fit out.
“Rork Projects is known as an exceptional and skilled contractor with a highly experienced and dedicated team that delivers for its clients. I hope to use this strong foundation as a platform to help lead and build the business into the next phase of success for our clients,” said Kang.
“I look forward to introducing myself to the existing Rork network along with securing new partnership opportunities that continue to pave the way forward. The future certainly looks promising for Rork and I’m excited to play a key role in the company’s next phase of growth.”
