GPT has commenced management of UniSuper’s $2.8 billion direct real estate mandate.
The portfolio of assets now under management by GPT include malls Karrinyup Shopping Centre, in Western Australia, Marrickville Metro and Dapto Mall in NSW and Malvern Central in Victoria, as well as the 7 Macquarie Place office building and a 25% interest in Brookfield Place, in Sydney.
UniSuper transferred its account from AMP Capital to GPT Group earlier this year, as a number of mandates with AMP Capital were wound up.
Management rights to the AMP Capital Wholesale Office Fund have just been snapped up by Mirvac, while Dexus will assume local management rights of more than $20 billion worth of AMP’s Collimate Capital’s local real estate and infrastructure assets.
