JLL is expanding its valuation advisory team in Melbourne, with the appointment of Stuart Fox as senior director.
Bringing more than 20 years of industry experience, Fox has previously served as Savills managing director and Australian head of valuations, as well as having held a senior role at m3property, before most recently working in funds management.
To secure someone of the calibre of Stuart in the current environment is further testament to the strength of the JLL brand and its existing platform,” said Martin Reynolds, national head of corporate and institutional valuations at JLL Australia.
“Stuart will provide significant industry knowledge, broad industry contacts and enviable management experience that the broader JLL business look forward to leveraging off.”
While Fox has experience across various asset classes, his reputation and history is strongest in the retail sector, leaving him primed to assist JLL’s national retail team’s growth and market position.
“We are delighted to be welcoming Stuart to JLL. He has an outstanding reputation as one of Australia’s leading institutional valuers and he will bring some wonderful insights and perspectives to our already market leading platform,” said John Talbot, head of valuation advisory at JLL, Asia Pacific.
The appointment follows recent hires at JLL, including industry veteran Karen Draper as the new head of retail, property and asset management for Western Australia, Sandra Ng to the group’s industrial and logistics occupier services team and Tim Heaton to the newly created role of head of corporate and institutional valuations – Canberra.
