AN expanding client roster and increasing demand for complex property funding expertise has prompted construction financial advisory group, Development Finance Partners (DFP) to make two senior hires at its Brisbane office.
Thirty-year banking and finance veteran Gary Douglas joins DFP as senior credit manager, having worked in funds management and private equity businesses in Europe and Asia and closer to home, in senior roles at NAB and Bankwest and the private sector.
DFP has also hired Tara Foreman as head of marketing to oversee the company’s national marketing and communication function.
Foreman was previously national marketing manager for industrial at Knight Frank Australia and has also worked in Knight Frank’s commercial divisions in both Sydney and Brisbane, following similar roles within the industry.
“Demand for our strategic financial services – based on our ability to structure complex property transactions and understanding of the property market – has never been stronger and we expect this to carry on as the industry continues to face ongoing and challenging building and lending environments,” DFP co-founder and director, Matt Royal said.
DFP was established in 2011 and has offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
