JLL’s Ross Skelton has joined Colliers’ new WA office as director of the office leasing team in Perth.
After 14 years at JLL, including direct involvement in more than 30 transactions in 2021, Skelton is taking his extensive experience in broker-led transactions to this new position.
“Ross has considerable experience in all facets of the leasing process, working with key stakeholders to provide strategic advice across all asset classes including project leasing, where he has led many successful campaigns in the CBD, West Perth and fringe suburban precincts,” said Jemma Hutchinson, national director of office leasing at Colliers.
Hutchinson noted Colliers increasing need for expansion in their WA leasing team, that currently comprises four members, as demand strengthens across the market.
“There has been a gap in the market in agency and we are very excited to deliver and offer a service to clients that will only continue to grow from strength to strength,” said Hutchinson.
Major activity in the Perth office market in recent times includes,ARA Asset Management selling its government-leased St Georges Terrace office building, Brookfield is selling Alan Bond’s former 108 St Georges Terrace and the offloading of the entirety of the St Martins Centre precinct.
“A fresh new approach to servicing clients is something we can deliver exceptionally well and we look forward to being a market leader here in WA,” concluded Hutchinson.
