YASHWINI Halai has joined Colliers’ WA office in the role of manager of research in the group’s new Perth headquarters.
Halai is joining Colliers after working at Urbis as a property consultant in their property economics and research team.
At Urbis, Halai delivered urban development reports, best-use assessments across a range of sectors, economic benefit analysis assessments for State Development Assessment Unit applications and residential demand and supply analysis.
“Yashwini will lead our Perth research capabilities, providing in-depth research content for the WA business across all asset classes,” said Joanne Henderson, national director of research at Colliers.
In her new position, Halai will also focus on research insights and initiatives across Colliers’ national research team and with the group’s local strategic advisory and valuations team.
“We are thrilled to welcome Yashwini to our team, which continues to grow and build momentum as the market heats up. We look forward to seeing Yashwini add her considerable local property market expertise to assist our clients across all major sectors,” said Richard Cash, WA state chief executive at Colliers.
This latest hire follows Colliers’ April appointments of healthcare transaction specialist Ian Sanders as its new head of healthcare and retirement living, as well as adding Antonio Trimboli as associate director of the office leasing team, Jennifer Wong as director of valuations and advisory, and Ian Burrows as director of facilities management to its WA office.
