WITH Stage One construction now complete, building works have begun on the first homes for Pointcorp’s Riverina Gold Coast Estate.
The 180-lot masterplanned estate is positioned in Carrara, 10 minutes out from the beaches of Surfers Paradise, on a 17-hectare development site with 430 metres of river frontage, a 2.8-hectare central late, resort style amenities and open green spaces.
To be delivered over four stages, Stage One of the project is comprised of 26 lots, ranging from 280sqm to 500sqm, with all lots now sold and titles settled.
“The quality of the Riverina estate and its location have resulted in strong inquiry and sales since we launched the development, with all 92 house lots in the first two stages selling within months of being released to the market,” said Louka Vitale from ProjX Group, who is managing the sales for the estate.
With all stages released to the market, only a small portion remain at the estate, which offered home lots ranging up to 740sqm, for an average lot price of $600,000, while the premium lots of Stage Four were priced in excess of $1 million.
“That’s half the estate sold within a few months of launching the estate, which clearly demonstrates that Riverina presents a rare opportunity to build a brand new home in a prime location,” added Vitale.
Vitale attributed the successful sales campaign of the project so far to its being one of the last masterplanned residential communities set to be delivered to the central area of the Gold Coast, with land for development increasingly rare.
“Most of the lots in Stage One and Stage Two at Riverina sold to Gold Coast locals, with a handful of buyers coming from Brisbane and regional Queensland. Considering the limited housing land available on the Gold Coast, these [remaining] premium lots will not remain available for long,” said Vitale.
Lifestyle facilities in the masterplan include a 26-berth marina on the river and a private residents club with a cinema, café, library and gymnasium, 25 metre swimming pool and children’s playground.
Riverina Gold Coast sits just 1km out from the Pacific Motorway, a 30 minute drive from the Gold Coast Airport, 13 from the Robina Town Centre and less than an hour out from the Brisbane CBD.
In addition to the building of the estate’s first homes, works have also begun on the Riverina Gold Coast display village for Stage One at 74 Riverview Road, Carrara.
Construction works on the 66-lot Stage Two is also underway, with completion scheduled for August this year, while the remaining two stages with a combined 88 lots are due to be finished early-2023.
Construction on the first homes at Riverina Gold Coast Estate are anticipated for an October 2022 completion.
