AGENTS Stonebridge Property Group has appointed Michael Collins as partner to its new national investment sales division, within the company’s newly opened Queensland office.
Collins has decades of experience and spent the last five years at Cushman & Wakefield as head of national investment sales, where he established the firm’s portfolio auction firm.
He was part of the Cushman & Wakefield exodus that occurred just before Christmas, with colleagues Tom Moreland and Thomas Proberts having also joined Stonebridge in the company’s Queensland post, within Brisbane’s Gold Tower at 10 Eagle Street.
The core focus of the team is on childcare centres, service stations, fast-food, medical and convenience retail investments across the eastern seaboard.
“He will lead the new division, with the existing partners, and we are excited by the style and culture he brings to our organisation, having proved himself as a well-respected Broker across Australia,” Stonebridge partner, Lincoln Blackledge said of Collins’ appointment.
“Stonebridge is a perfect fit for our national business model, particularly given our ability to operate in the three key territories of NSW, Victoria and Queensland,” Collins said.
Stonebridge was formed in Sydney in 2008 and also has a Melbourne office. Over the past year it has transacted over $2 billion in deals.
