KNIGHT Frank has appointed Jenine Cranston as national head of ESG as it moves towards reaching net-zero carbon emissions by 2030.
Cranston has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, including previously holding senior leadership client-facing roles at CBRE and Colliers.
She recently completed a sustainability and circular economy qualification at Cambridge University.
“ESG will continue to have an impact on real estate, and is increasingly front and centre of property investment decisions, and it will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our industry,” Knight Frank CEO James Patterson said.
“We aspire to become a market leader in ESG, and positively impact on the property sector and the wider communities and environments in which we operate.
“Jenine’s focus will be on developing and implementing meaningful ESG strategies to help Knight Frank Australia elevate our sustainability profile, create great outcomes and enhance our investment decisions for our partners.
Cranston said, “My skillset is unique mix of extensive property experience and knowledge, and a genuine and deep commitment to the environment.
“I sought a role in which I could contribute my knowledge, network and experience to create great outcomes for our partners.”
