GLOBAL real estate investment, operating and development company QuadReal Property has appointed Zahar Mejanni to global head of strategic partnerships.
Prior to his appointment, Mejanni worked in a range of leadership positions at Macquarie Capital and Macquarie Asset Management, beginning in 2008, such as head of EMEA real estate private capital markets.
Mejanni, who begun his career at KPMG Coporate Finance, will work at QuadReal in London and report directly to CEO of QuadReal, Dennis Lopez.
“Many of us knew Zahar before he joined QuadReal. I am delighted that he is now part of QuadReal and will lead our Strategic Partnerships effort. We respect Zahar’s track record of success and his thoughtful approach to establishing and growing relationships,” said Lopez.
Heading up strategic partnerships, Mejanni will lead the team in creating partnerships with parties with aligned ethos’ and focus on global investment opportunities.

The team’s emphasis on long term investments that provide attractive returns fully aligns with my personal philosophy. I am very keen to lead QuadReal’s efforts to build deep relationships with its global network of Strategic Partners,” said Mejanni.
The company’s 2021-launched $800 million joint venture with GPT Group, GPT QuadReal Logistics, recently saw a leadership change, following Chris Davis’s appointment to head of logistics of the Australian half of the venture’s newly established separate logistics business unit.
