COLLIERS has promoted industrial expert Gavin Bishop to managing director of the national industrial business.
Bishop is currently the head of the industrial capital markets and led the NSW industrial team.
He will continue to lead the industrial capital markets division.
Bishop takes the reins from Malcolm Tyson, who was appointed as Colliers’ CEO for Australia in 2021.
Tyson said he has played a significant role in the growth of Colliers’ industrial business.
“Gavin has been with Colliers for more than 21 years and is a long-standing member of our Australian senior leadership team. He is a respected industry leader who has been involved in some of the largest deals across Australia including the GIC/Australand Portfolio, Altis Portfolios, Qantas Investment & Land Portfolio, JP Morgan Portfolio, McPhee Portfolio and the Greenlit Brands Portfolio.
“Working closely with our industrial experts across each market, Gavin will leverage this experience to maximise the potential of property for our valued industrial clients across Australia,” Tyson said.
