SALTA Properties has commenced construction of a seven-level city fringe commercial development on Clarendon Street in Melbourne’s Southbank, on a site it bought six years ago.
Macbuild has been appointed as construction partner for the OneFourFive inner-city project, and completion is scheduled for Q3, 2022.
The 595 sqm site was acquired by Salta Properties in November of 2015 and the new development will offer city views, open plan spaces, outdoor terraces, end-of-trip facilities, bike parking and ground floor activation spaces for retail.
“Work culture has changed significantly in Melbourne due to the extensive lockdowns; employees are now seeking to work in the highest quality environments that are more spacious, modern, spark creativity and promote productivity,” Sam Tarascio, managing director of Salta Properties said.
It was designed in collaboration architecture firm Architectus.
