JLL is expanding its expertise in the defence sector in hiring Geoff Camp as its new defence lead of Australia.
Leaving his role as director of service delivery for the ACT at the department of defence, Camp is bringing more than 13 years of industry experience to JLL.
“We’re thrilled to see Geoff join JLL and lead our team dedicated to assist the defence sector with their property services requirements,” said Ben Tindale, managing director, accounts, work dynamics at JLL, Australasia.
“Geoff’s experience in crafting solutions for the sector that deliver critical capabilities in a timely and cost-effective manner will bolster what JLL already delivers in this space.”
At JLL Camp will head up property services work with the defence sector, spanning operations in project management, facilities management, consulting and tenant representation.
“Geoff will bring to JLL critical relationships and a deep understanding of the requirements of the defence sector for the collective benefit of our many business teams who work to deliver projects and services for the industry,” said Scott McCrossin, managing director of projects and development services at JLL, Australiasia.
Camp also held leadership roles in the Queensland government, as well as working in aviation.

Just last week JLL WA announced the retirement of its managing director, John Williams with Angelo Amara stepping into the role.
While Greg Pike and Matt Lee were appointed to the group’s national industrial and logistics team amidst the group’s further expansion into Western Sydney, with the move into its newly completed prime grade space in Parramatta.
