JLL has appointed Greg Pike and Matt Lee to its national industrial and logistics team, as the group prepares for growth across western Sydney.
Pike will bring over 17 years of experience in the property industry to his new role as national head of industrial brokerage services, growing JLL’s institutional leasing across the country.
“Demand within the industrial and logistics sector has grown at a rapid rate, and JLL’s team has expanded accordingly. These two distinct appointments will strengthen our business lines, brokerage, supply chain, and agency in our industrial and logistics business,” said Peter Blade, who himself was just recently promoted to head of industrial & logistics agency at JLL, Australia.
Pike also recently became a board member of uTenant, a proptech platform that JLL in became a major shareholder in earlier this year. The Tinder-style platform connects industrial tenants and landlords directly for property leasing, as well as helping product owners find the best Third-Party Logistics providers and overflow solutions.
“With a clear vision at every angle, we plan to double the size of our National Industrial agency team based upon client and customer demand. With this growth, we aim to bolt on additional services to ensure we are meeting the needs of our clients and continue to grow our industrial market share,” added Blade.
Lee, who has more than 15 years of experience in industrial property will commence in a new role of national head of industrial occupier services after working at JLL since 2018.
In this new position, Lee will manage the group’s supply chain and logistics business, occupier services and data centres, a market he has extensive knowledge of.
“The vision for these new national leaders of JLL’s industrial and logistics agency business will enable us to continue to service global customers, build upon our current capabilities, and foster JLL’s people,” concluded Blade.
