CBRE has found a new regional director of workplace strategy and change management in Janet Martin.
Martin will join CBRE’s advisory & transaction services team, bringing 15 years of experience in workplace strategy, serving in leadership positions at Orica Mining Services, Boral Concrete, Resmed, several water authorities, the ABC, Victoria Police, UNSW and RMIT.
“Future office space use, workplace strategies and change management implementation have never been higher on our clients’ priority lists,” said Matt Haddon, senior managing director, advisory & transaction services at CBRE, Pacific.
“Janet’s skill sets, expertise and reputation for strategic thinking, will further strengthen our platform and the end-to-end services we can offer as businesses assess their overall workplace needs.”
In recent weeks, CBRE has made several appointments including Steve Carroll and David Ling to senior positions on its Asia Pacific Hotels & Hospitality team, Su-Fern Tan to lead the group’s national sustainability team and Chris Hanley as a director of CBD leasing at CBRE’s Sydney office leasing business.

“In her new role she will be one of eight country leaders within our APAC Workplace Strategy business, which comprises 160 workplace and change management professionals across the region.”
Martin will commence at CBRE on 4 October and will be based in CBRE’s Melbourne office upon its reopening.
