BROOKFIELD has appointed Tomkins Commercial and Industrial Builders to deliver the mixed-use Rivello development on the Brisbane River.
In Brookfield Residential Properties ninth development in the residential and lifestyle precinct at Portside, the 21-storey building will add 150 new offerings to the 850 already delivered to the area.
80% of the one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, sub-penthouses and penthouses were sold off-the-plan, within weeks of the early August launch.
“It is a significant achievement to reach this sales milestone so quickly and is a credit to the lifestyle-centred design and desirable Brisbane River position, together with the exceptional demand in the market,” said Lee Butterworth, managing director of Brookfield Residential Properties.
Sitting six kilometre out from the Brisbane CBD, Rivello will offer its residents resort-style amenities, including a roof-top infinity-edge pool, a private dining room, a residents lounge, wine cellar, business centre, outdoor gardens and barbeque areas.
The apartments still available to the market start at $605,000, while the two remaining sub-penthouses start at $2.093 million.
“The absolute riverfront location, array of restaurants, cafes, shops and the cinema, and the connectivity to the Brisbane CBD and Brisbane Airport is impossible to match and appeals to a broad range of purchasers,” added Butterworth.
Interest in the apartments has come largely from buyers living within a 10km radius of Portside, while there has been some interest from interstate owner-occupiers looking to buy into the lifestyle location trend.
“Tomkins has delivered more than 300 projects across the residential, commercial, industrial and education sectors, and we’re proud to be able to add Rivello to this extensive portfolio of work,” said Julian French, general manager of Tomkins.
“Rivello matches sophisticated architecture with a prominent blue-chip location and we look forward to delivering a building that buyers will be proud to call home.”
Construction on Brookfield’s Rivello development is set to commence in late October, with a late 2023 completion forecasted.
